Event Video
  •

A new facility, a piece of technology, your quarterly results—that's why you want to tell your story. The impact on how people work, on how people live—that's the story. Develop a video that brings your company together and gets everyone moving in the right direction. Create a product based on your needs, not on what someone else thinks you can afford.

And remember the first rule of production: the video is for your audience, not for you.

"Oh well, maybe next year," isn't an option

Use streaming video to reach a wider audience, create a highlight reel keep your message current, send a B-roll of footage to media outlets along with your press release, use video analysis in your post-mortem, or edit on site to provide your guests with a video memento.

The choice is up to you.

But only if you plan for it.

Video isn't a must-have for every event. We'll be the first to tell you that. But, if you want video, you need to plan ahead to make sure you get the quality you want and ensure that the video supports your event objectives.

"Pick up a camera. Shoot something. No matter how small, no matter how cheesy, no matter whether your friends and your sister star in it. Put your name on it as director. Now you're a director. Everything after that you're just negotiating your budget and your fee."

- James Cameron
